Death in Paradise detective returns to beloved role in spin-off and fans will be thrilled
Death in Paradise fans were sent into a frenzy when they discovered that the spin-off series, Beyond Paradise, was already filming in Cornwall
Kris Marshall is set to reprise his role as Detective Humphrey Goodman in the eagerly awaited Death in Paradise spin-off, Beyond Paradise, as the BBC series commences filming.
Although Beyond Paradise isn't slated for release until next year, ardent fans have confirmed that production has kicked off in Cornwall.
A snapshot of a sign indicating "BP Unit" was posted on a Facebook fan page dedicated to the show, with the caption revealing, "Back filming in Cornwall".
One eagle-eyed fan pinpointed the location, commenting, "The sign is at St Mellion Golf Club; it's where they store their filming trailers and lorries."
Responses ranged from an enthusiastic "Great, can't wait," to other fans expressing their anticipation with comments like "Excellent."
Another devoted follower shared a notice from the production company responsible for the show, which outlined the filming schedule.
The notice informed locals that shooting for Beyond Paradise would take place from July to November, "in and around East and West Looe", reports the Express.
The announcement also clarified: "The events will be recorded and may form part of a television programme."
It further stated that by entering the area, visitors agree to potentially being filmed for the show, adding, "We hope this will not inconvenience your visit".
The prospect of appearing on the show excited fans, with one saying, "I would love to be included if I were walking by."
In a humorous twist, another quipped: "I am on the way, should I wear my police cap?"
The conclusion of series three of Beyond Paradise was a tear-jerker for Humphrey and Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton), as they bid farewell to their foster daughter, Rosie.
