Tom Sandoval isn’t ready to hang up his Vanderpump Rules hat just yet.

“I really hope the show keeps going. There’s still so much left to explore,” Sandoval, 42, shared exclusively with Us Weekly during Thea De Sousa’s book launch for The Unofficial Vanderpump Rules Ultimate Trivia Book at SUR on October 15. “At this point, we just have to wait and see.”

Despite his enthusiasm, the fate of Vanderpump Rules is out of his hands. Bravo decided to put the reality series on pause following the wrap-up of season 11 earlier this year. Traditionally, the show films in the summer months, but its future remains uncertain.

“It’s not my call,” Sandoval admitted. “I’m not an executive producer. I’m not the network. However it returns—if it does—that’s not up to me, but I’m definitely hopeful.”

“It surprised both of us,” Sandoval confessed. “But it’s been an amazing journey so far.”
